The purpose of the journal is to expand the exchange of achievements of modern domestic and foreign science, informing professionals and the public about the theoretical and practical results of scientific research in the field of education.
The main thematic direction is the publication of the results of scientific and pedagogical research in secondary education.
The founder and publisher of the journal is the "National Academy of Education named after I. Altynsarin" of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The journal was registered in the International Centre for Registration of Serial Publications ISSN 16-07-2790 and the Committee on Information and Archives of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2000 (certificate number 1308-Z), re-registered in 2023 (certificate of re-registration number KZ94VPY00064976).
