Abstract

The article presents a description of the study of the problems of modern upbringing of the younger generation and ways to solve them on the basis of national values. In the period from 2020 to 2023, a large-scale research with the participation of 33,297 respondents, based on the author's surveys, was conducted to identify the main national values necessary for the upbringing of the new generation in educational organizations. The respondents were deputy heads of educational work, subject teachers, and class teachers of educational organizations. The data analysis revealed three main values: national interest, conscience and aspiration. On the basis of these values a unified program of upbringing for educational organizations was developed.  The purpose of this program is to form individuals who give priority to national interests and values, respect their homeland and contribute to the development of a just society in Kazakhstan. The article also considers various methods of education aimed at integrating national values into the educational process and forming quality education, foresight, diligence, honesty and national consciousness in students. The article considers the mechanisms of assimilation of national values by children taking into account their age peculiarities in educational organizations. This study will be useful for specialists in the field of education system, scientists and teachers dealing with the issues of education and formation of national values in the younger generation.
