The authors of the article «The influence of the personal brand of a computer science teacher on the development of the information culture of younger students» explore the current problem: today a person’s life is unthinkable without the Internet, which can be dangerous without the appropriate competencies to work with it. Therefore, the development of information culture should be started from the elementary school. The article presents an overview of the scientific and pedagogical literature on the research problem. An empirical analysis was also carried out, including the collection of empirical data using a survey of younger students on the impact of the personal brand of an informatics teacher on the development of their information culture. The results of the study show that the personal brand of an informatics teacher has an impact on the development of the information culture of younger students. In conclusion, the authors draw conclusions about the importance of developing a personal brand of an informatics teacher and offer recommendations for its formation and strengthening. Practical recommendations are also given for the development of the information culture of younger students based on the influence of the personal brand of an informatics teacher. This scientific article is a valuable contribution to the development of the information culture of schoolchildren and may be useful for computer science teachers, pedagogical specialists and researchers involved in this issue.
