Abstract

The article discusses the relevance and importance of improving the upbringing of the young generation using the system of national and universal values and taking into account modern scientific innovations. In modern conditions the emphasis is placed on the necessity of effective support and guidance for teachers, as well as various directions of development and education of schoolchildren, including integration of values into the educational process, organization of educational events and use of effective methods and techniques for the formation of national spirit and values. This article is a review of current areas of improvement in the upbringing of generation at school. The article considers the educational work of the young generation in 6 areas: the collective cultural and educational environment of the school, the system of family values, the system of national values, healthy lifestyle, information and communication technology literacy, the values of conscientious entrepreneurial work. To support these areas, 14 methodological guides have been developed for classroom teachers, parents and students, which can be used at all levels of education, from elementary school to high school students, with their directions and expected results. The article emphasizes the need to modernize the methods and techniques of educating a generation, strengthening spiritual and moral values, the development of mental abilities and patriotic education.
