Abstract

The article discusses recommendations for teaching and learning Kazakh children's stories in the modern education system. The difficulties in teaching prose works with the help of new technologies and ways to facilitate them are shown. The works contributing to the life and behavior of children and their knowledge of the surrounding world, obtaining and improving spiritual knowledge were also analyzed. The specificity of the article lies in the analysis of works offered for additional reading, as well as works for children provided for in the school curriculum. The main purpose of the article is also to study the side of stories for children that will help the teacher by showing an example of an analysis of those received in the school curriculum and those received outside the school curriculum. The theme and idea of stories for children, artistry and language features were analyzed, the system of characters was analyzed.
