Abstract

Annotation. The article deals with the issues of "Study of the influence of the chronotype on the academic performance of schoolchildren in academic subjects." The fact that a person's chronotype affects his ability to think and work is known through scientific research, that is, the student's academic performance and adaptability to the educational process are also determined by these chronotypical features. In the course of the research work, tests and the morning-evening (MEQ) test questionnaire for determining the chronotype were taken from students of the class included in the study. The survey was conducted twice to ensure reliable results. The survey was conducted twice to ensure reliable results. Students in grades 7 and 9 were taken for observation. Since the age of students is 12-15 years, the characteristics of adolescence were also taken into account. In the course of the study, the student's assessment in the observational work was not related to the time and chronotype of the lesson. However, students of the "evening" type had higher marks in natural science subjects, and students of the "morning" type - in humanities. It was revealed that students of the "average" type mastered both directions well.
