Abstract

Annotation.  This article discusses one of the topical issues of modern education – the development of additional education for children. Using the example of countries such as Germany, Scandinavia, France, Canada, the USA, Great Britain, South Korea, Belgium, the Netherlands, Slovakia, the issues of developing non-formal education, patriotic education, studying the history and culture of their country, and actively spending free time are considered. The article defines the main goal, main tasks, values and the current state of the development of additional education for children in Kazakhstan, presents the main directions of additional education for children, the role of improving the professional growth of teachers of additional education, modern approaches to the development of intellectual, creative, cultural potential of children.
